In recent years Tidewater/ Undertow Field Hockey Club has been able to bring together eight decades of experience under one name. And if we know one thing it's that this community is special and worth celebrating! 

USA Field Hockey has watched our community grow and thrive, working together to continue the legacy, growing the game in our region, and has awarded us grant money to put on a large community event. Each of our adult players comes with a unique past, having established so many community connections (national and international), while our student-athletes play for school teams as well, making lifelong friendships along the way--- these are worth celebrating too! We invite teammates of the past and present, parents, fans, umpires, coaches, spouses, supporters, and more to join our festivities!

With that being said, with Tidewater/ Undertow Field Hockey Club as the host, we are excited to announce our first annual Richmond Hockey Club Legacy Run, on November 23, 2025 at Bryan Park, Richmond, VA. Why Richmond Hockey Club? We can't wait to share USA Field Hockey and our club history with you, but the answer, along with much more information related to this event, will be shared in coming months. 

What you need to know:

1) This IS happening! Mark your calendars! You won't want to miss it! There will be a kids' mile run and 5k timed race. Registration is OPEN NOW!

2) The proceeds will benefit Tidewater/Undertow. If you know of an organization interested in sponsoring this event, please fill out this SPONSORSHIP FORM.

We welcome athletes age U12 - U19!

🏑 WINTER INDOOR FIELD HOCKEY 2026
Open to athletes in grades 4–12

Join us this winter for high-energy indoor training designed to sharpen skills, build confidence, and compete in a fun, supportive environment!

Undertow Surge (Grades 8–12)

A high-performance program for competitive players ready to take their game to the next level.

⭐ Team Selections Required for placement onto Undertow Surge or Undertow Flow
📍 The Commons (2101 Maywill St)
🗓 Mondays, November 17 & 24
⏰ 5:30 – 8:30 PM

💰 Team Selection Registration Fee: $25

Practice Schedule (once placed):

• Sundays, 3–5 PM @ Shooters Indoor Sportsplex

• Mondays, 6–8 PM @ The Commons

• Wednesdays, 6–8 PM @ River City Sportsplex

Tournaments:

• U19: National Indoor Tournament & National Indoor Festival

• U16: National Indoor Festival

• Regional competitive tournaments

💰 Season Fee: $350 (tournaments not included)

Undertow Flow (Grades 4–12)

A fun, competitive environment focused on developing skills and game understanding.

No team selections required for grades 4–7 — register directly for Undertow Flow!
Grades 8–12 will be placed on Flow or Surge following team selections.

Practice Schedule:

• Sundays, 1–3 PM @ Shooters Indoor Sportsplex

• Wednesdays, 6–8 PM @ River City Sportsplex

Tournaments:

• Regional competitive tournaments
